Infinite Shock No Traction • Mid-Calf Compression Dance Socks
When a crew sock isn't quite enough, the Apolla Infinite Shock No Traction extends supportive compression beyond the foot and ankle into a full mid-calf profile designed for demanding training days and recovery.
The smooth no-traction sole keeps turns and gliding movement free, while targeted compression, full-foot coverage and impact cushioning create a noticeably more supported experience. Infinite is less about feeling completely barefoot and more about helping the whole lower leg feel held through long classes, rehearsals and everything that comes afterwards.
Apolla Infinite Shock No Traction – Personality
Maximum Support • Mid-Calf Compression • Cushioned Protection • Smooth Glide
The long-day support specialist. Infinite takes the supportive philosophy of Apolla's shorter dance socks and carries it farther up the leg. It feels substantial without becoming rigid, making it particularly appealing when support and endurance matter more than a barely-there feel.
Black keeps Infinite clean, understated and technical, a natural fit for its hardworking studio and recovery personality.
Apolla Infinite Shock Compression Dance Socks – Design & Performance
The defining difference is immediately visible: Infinite extends to mid-calf. Targeted compression works through the foot, arch, ankle and calf rather than stopping around the ankle, creating a more encompassing supportive feel through the lower leg.
Underfoot, cushioning helps soften repeated impact while the full-foot construction provides considerably more protection than minimalist contemporary footwear. The toe area is intentionally a little more generous than Apolla Performance, giving the toes additional room to spread while maintaining the close compression fit through the rest of the sock.
The No Traction sole remains deliberately smooth. There are no grip pods to break in or maintain, leaving dancers free to turn, pivot and glide according to their own technique and the studio surface.
What makes Infinite particularly interesting is that its job doesn't necessarily finish when class does. The extended graduated compression makes it equally relevant for long rehearsal days and post-class recovery, giving dancers one product that can move from active training into the quieter part of the day.

Dance World Notes – Apolla Infinite Shock
The long-day support specialist.
The extra height isn't just cosmetic. Compared with Performance, Infinite carries its compression farther up the lower leg, so the difference is noticeable when you're looking for support beyond the foot and ankle.
We also like that Apolla gives the toes a little more freedom here. The toe area is intentionally roomier than Performance, allowing more natural spreading while the rest of the sock remains closely supportive. It's a small construction difference that makes sense in a product designed for longer wear.
Our overall impression: Infinite is the one we'd choose when the priority shifts from simply supporting the foot during class to supporting the lower leg through the whole training day. The smooth sole preserves freedom to turn, while the mid-calf compression gives it a genuine training-and-recovery identity.
